It feels good outside today. It was 50 when I came into work. I could live with that all the time. :)
I meant to post yesterday but was swamped with work. You would think with it being a holiday I would be slow. Doc was late getting in because of the fog. Turned out the air traffic controllers were telling him it was foggy still. We told him it was clear and sunshine. He took our word for it and came on in. He is sick. He had 7 inpatient consultations to see. That's a lot for us plus the regularly scheduled patients to see. He spends a minimum of an hour with new patients. He told me last night he didn't leave the hospital til midnight. I had a letter from a patient we see twice a year in followup. She wanted him to tell her she would be OK and wouldn't have to come back. She cant afford her copays. I fear we are going to see more and more of this. Don't worry, he told me he would pay her copay. She cried when I called and told her.
Went to a bridal show with Kristy, Jodi, Tabitha and Felina Sunday. I thought we would go in, look at stuff and leave. No not gonna happen. We were there from 1pm til 5pm. I was exhausted.
Jodi on the other hand loved it. She ate at every catering booth and sampled each cake. I had to pull her out of one of the limos because she thought she could stay in there and watch tv. We watched a fashion show at the end. Then they gave away a honeymoon trip. The girl that won looked like she didnt have 2 dimes to rub together. I was happy for her. Kristy got a 50.00 off card for David's Bridal. I was tickled they had a plus sized model too. You rarely see that.
Guess I better get busy. I will catch up with you all later as I can.
