babeofbryanMorning everyone! Im hoping to finish my Christmas cards this week. I havent forgotten them just got busy with work and life.
My life is now complete. I heard Porky Pig singing Blue Christmas this morning. :)
Last night Bryan, Jonathan and I worked on the tree. Ive come to the conclusion I have too many ornaments. I also have a large tote full of lights we wont use this year. We generally have two trees. One in the den and the one in my formal living room. This year we didnt get the live tree because we have dogs and cats who think the house is a running track. They dont come into the formal living room unless they are on the way out to potty. I need to wrap gifts tonite. I also need to do my Christmas baking. I make my dad some bourbon balls. He loves them! I have a new thing ive made twice. I bought peanut butter cookie dough, sliced it and put it into my mini muffin pan. Then I smushed them down and baked them. When they were done I plopped Reeses miniatures in each one. Yummy peanut butter and chocolate goodness! Trouble is they dont last long. Bryan made his peanut butter corn flake candy last night. This morning one of the ziplocks had a tear in it. Guess the cats partied last night. LOL I also need to make chocolate covered pretzels, potato chip candy, and buckeyes(peanut butter balls). I also make Martha Washington candy but its so rich and im the one who loves them. Think I will pass this year on those.
I was remembering old Christmas' last night. I have an ornament I bought at Britts(a dept store) and had engraved for Kristys very first Christmas. The writing has gone from it but I always put it up anyway. We had no money but those Christmas' were so precious. She and I have both grown so much since then. Shes my best friend. :) Well Jodi is in there too but I cant tell Jodi anything. She cant hold water. :)
