Ive been reading just not posting much. Ive had a busy week. I love staying busy so its all good.
My boss who I call Doc #1 and I have been talking a bit. I dont take on other jobs without telling him. It wouldnt be fair to him plus I dont want him surprised if they mention me to him. Its a small town. He has asked me if I would leave him and I told him no way. He is stuck with me. He plans to practice medicine for at least 10 more years. He has approached me with an opportunity that Im weighing out. He thinks we could form a billing service. Instead of me going to these other docs office to train their employees and evaluate their billing, I would just do their billing on our equipment. He said we would split the percentage we got in half. The going rate is 8%. Doesnt sound like a lot but it is when you think of volumes. Plus that would keep me in the office more. Im also adjusting my work hours. I will be going in at 8am and getting off at 4pm. We shall see.
Not much happening in my home life. Work, chores, life goes on. We went out to eat Mexican last night because it was Friday. Thats what we do. :)
Its raining today. Might be a good house cleaning day. Then again I might let it wait. I want to fling open the windows and clean out the winter drabs. I just dont want to do it when its raining.
Gay has taken a chemo break. She told me she just doesnt want to be sick every day of her life. She is so good when she doesnt have the chemo. Its a catch-22 for her and I dont know any other way to go.
