Yesterday was a strange day. I was fairly busy at work. Didnt get my filing done or all my daily work done. I did get next weeks payroll finished. Its always a priority. My daughter is going through a tough time. She is in the midst of a divorce and hes a complete jerk, always has been. Yesterday he brought Jodi to her at work and said he was finished with her and didnt want anything else to do with her. Said she ate 24/7 and was getting fat and he didnt want to have anything to do with her. While this is no surprise he has never had anything to do with her for the past 8 years, he is a F***ing idiot to say something like that to a child.
She called and I told her to bring Jodi to me at work. Jodi was shaking and had been crying. I gave her a big hug and told her I love her and always will no matter what.  She settled down somewhat and then she told me her daddy wouldnt let her have a snack when she got home from school and asked if I could just stop at a gas station. I just wanted to cry. I know kids are hungry when they get home and need a snack. She has lunch at 11am. She gets home at 330. Thats a long time. Anyway she stayed with me until her mom got home. I gave her lots of hugs and kisses and let her play in the tub for 30 mins(something she loves). I just dont understand how a father can be so damn mean.

I meant to post yesterday about the movies we watched this weekend. We watched The Departed and Man of the Year. I liked The Departed alot. Of course the cast was yummy to start with but the story had some twists. Lots of blood too. Sort of remined me of the Sopranos and I like that show. Man of the Year was a bust for me although Bryan liked it. I just didnt find it funny. I thought it dragged on and Robin Williams seemed strained to me. Anyway my opinion doesnt matter much but I give it anyway. Back to work for this ole gal. :)
