Looking a lot like Halloween

I hope today is a better day. Monday started out crazy for me and never got any better. My boss called me at home. He needed me to wire money for the jet hes buying along with the plane he just bought last week. He also needed to stop payment on a check he wrote to his swimming pool contractor. Apparently he paid them late Friday night for installing the diving board. Saturday when he was swimming, he noticed the board is not bolted in properly. Instead of calling them back to fix it he wanted to stop payment. Needless to say we talked it out and he didn't. I got to work and the accountant called about my quarterly taxes. The numbers were not jiving. I told her the entries to look for and she found them but she stressed me out. In the midst of finding the entries in my system and matching to my bank statement I had a lady come in out of the blue for a job interview. Normally I would take her application and set up an appointment later. We really need a nurse practitioner desperately so I stopped talked to her a few min. I called the doc and we arranged an interview at lunch. Turns out we may hire her. We have been searching so hard to find an NP and this one drops in out of the blue.
After my morning with problems I finished up my work and left at 5 to go to class. My students in first period are so bored. the course i'm teaching isn't all fun and games but I really wish I could find a way to make it pop. I'm going to change up some stuff and see if I can get them excited about my class. My second period class is a computer course. Those students love to work. I had to make them leave at quarter to 9pm. I need a little time to do my paperwork each night. I have the same group tonite for a different class. I love my Tuesday and Thursday night classes.
I noticed last night most of the houses on my way home had Halloween decorations. I love Halloween and Christmas. Kinda always dread Thanksgiving. My family doesn't do the traditional celebration. Bryan goes to his sisters. Most of the time I do nothing. Maybe this year will be different.
Then it wont be long til Christmas. I am so looking forward to it. Have already bought most of it. I need to get Bryan something for his birthday and Christmas and have no idea.
We are going to Gatlinburg next weekend so maybe Ill see something there that will spark his interest.
Well better get back to it.
